House Rules & Important Information Welcome! Our rules are simple, please treat our home and neighbours with care and respect so everyone can enjoy a safe and relaxing stay. Shoes Off Indoors ✦ Please remove shoes before entering the home. Toilet Use ✦ Only toilet paper may be flushed. Please use the provided garbage bins for all other items. Pets ✦ Pets are only allowed with prior approval and applicable pet fees. Unauthorized pets are strictly prohibited. Smoking ✦ Smoking is strictly prohibited inside and anywhere on the cottage property. ✦ Please smoke off-property only. ✦ $500 fine per incident for violations. Parties & Events ✦ No parties, events, or large social gatherings are permitted. ✦ $1,000 penalty per incident for violations. Registered Guests Only ✦ The number of guests at the property must always match the number listed on the reservation. ✦ $100 per unregistered guest, per night will apply. Water & Outdoor Equipment ✦ Please return all kayaks, paddle boards, paddles, life jackets, and movable amenities to their original storage location each evening. Quiet Hours ✦Quiet hours are from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM Check-Out Time ✦Check-out is by 10:00 AM sharp ✦Late departures may result in a **$50 per hour fee** unless pre-approved. Damages & Excess Cleaning ✦Guests are responsible for any damages, missing items, excessive mess, or additional cleaning required after check-out. Maintenance Issues ✦If anything requires attention during your stay, please contact us directly so we can assist promptly. Liability Disclaimer ✦While we do our best to provide a safe and enjoyable environment, guests assume all responsibility for their stay and use of the property. ✦We are not liable for accidents, injuries, losses, or incidents occurring in or around the property. Package Deliveries ✦ We recommend not shipping packages to the property. We are not responsible for lost, delayed, or missing deliveries. Verification Requirements ✦A signed rental agreement and valid government-issued ID from the booking guest are required before access codes are provided. Pet Fee & Approval ✦Approved pet stays are subject to a $150 pet fee ✦To help maintain a comfortable environment for all guests, we kindly request only non-shedding dogs be brought to the property. Garbage & Recycling Policy ✦You are welcome to take your garbage to the nearest transfer station; however, please note that most transfer stations are closed on Sundays and statutory holidays. We appreciate your help in keeping the property clean and enjoyable for everyone! ✦ If there is additional garbage and recycling, a $150 fee will apply for removal. 📷 Cameras: ✦We have two security cameras that are on 24/7 for security reasons. They are located at the front and side entrances. ✦We go to great lengths to ensure our home is in excellent condition when you arrive. As our VIP guest, you and your family and friends will have full access to all the amenities the Sunrise Lakehouse Cottage has to offer plus parking for 6 cars. Two single kayaks with life jackets provided, and can be used at renter's discretion.
