🌿 Cottage Information & Guest Guide We’re excited to welcome you! Below is a simple guide to help you enjoy a smooth and comfortable stay. 🗑️ Garbage & Recycling Please use the garbage bags provided under the sink. Do not leave garbage outside wildlife may access it. Guests are responsible for taking all garbage and recycling to the Bon Echo Waste Transfer Station located along Salmon Lake Rd, on your way out. Prefer not to handle disposal? We offer a garbage removal service for $150. Kindly request this before check-in. 🛏️ Linens & Towels All bedding is provided (sheets, pillowcases, blankets, comforter). Each guest is supplied with one towel. 🌐 Internet High-speed Starlink WiFi is available. Access details will be shared upon arrival. The 70" TV includes Amazon Fire Stick with Netflix, Disney+, Prime, Crave, and more (log into your accounts). 🚣 Watercraft Enjoy the lake safely with the equipment provided: 1 canoe 2 kayaks 12 ft aluminum boat with oars Important: Life jackets are not supplied, so please bring your own. Always wear a life jacket when using any watercraft. Canoe & kayaks are stored under the deck; the aluminum boat is near the water. Kindly return equipment to the same locations after use. 🏡 Accommodation Details Sleeps up to 8 in winter / 10 in summer. Beds include: 1 King 2 Bedrooms with Double Beds Pull-out couch in the living room Summer only: 3-season room with Queen bed Each bedroom includes: Fan Mattress cover Bedsheet 2 pillows Comforter 🚽 Septic System (Important) The cottage uses a sensitive septic system. Please help us keep it running well. Do NOT flush: Sanitary products Paper towels Wipes ANY foreign objects Only toilet paper should go into the toilet. 🔥 Fire Pit Located at the water’s edge. Please use safely and responsibly. Avoid large fires and follow all fire bans. Firewood is available under the deck. Never leave a fire unattended. Use buckets of water to fully extinguish after use. 🍽️ BBQ BBQ (with utensils and propane tank) is provided. We do our best to ensure propane is full at check-in. Safety reminder: NEVER ignite the BBQ with the lid closed. Ensure proper ventilation and caution before lighting. 🪑 Patio & Outdoor Seating Multiple patio chairs, couches, and outdoor furniture are available for your enjoyment. 🧹 Cleaning Your cleaning and laundry fee covers a full turnover after your stay. We kindly ask that you help keep the cottage tidy during your visit. 🚤 Boat Launch Boat launching is available at Otter Lake Marina.
